The Boys’ Brigade Nigeria, Bauchi Battalion Council, has honoured 12 of its distinguished patrons with Honorary Awards of Excellence in recognition of their unwavering commitment, selfless service, and outstanding contributions to the growth and development of the organisation in Bauchi State.

The awards were presented during a special ceremony held at the United Evangelical Church, Bauchi, on Saturday.

Speaking at the event, the State President of the organisation, Elder Gibson J. Godobe, lauded the recipients for their exemplary leadership, consistency, and passion for advancing the mission of the Boys’ Brigade in the state.

Godobe, who was also among the honourees, expressed gratitude on behalf of the awardees, describing the recognition as both an honour and a renewed call to greater service.

He emphasised that the Boys’ Brigade stands for enduring values of mentorship, discipline, and faith, which continue to guide its members in building character and leadership among young people.

The State President further commended the Bauchi Battalion Council for upholding the organisation’s core principles of peace and discipline, noting that these virtues have earned it national recognition.

In his exhortation, Reverend Jacob Musa, Minister in charge of the United Evangelical Church, urged members of the Boys’ Brigade to remain true “Soldiers of Christ” and ambassadors of positive change in society.

He pledged continued support for the Brigade, describing it as a platform for nurturing integrity, confidence, and godly leadership among youth.
