995 Dashen Residents Benefit from Senator Yaroe’s Free Medical Outreach in Adamawa

YolaA total of 995 residents of the Dashen community in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State have received free medical treatment through the health outreach initiative of Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe.
The one-day medical intervention, held at the Dashen Primary Health Care Centre over the weekend, provided comprehensive healthcare services to people suffering from various ailments such as hypertension, diabetes, pelvic inflammatory diseases, peptic ulcer disease, malaria, typhoid fever, and anaemia.
In addition to general consultations, the medical team also carried out several surgical procedures, including hernia repairs (herniorrhaphy), appendectomies, hydrocelectomies, and lumpectomies, among other major and minor surgeries.
Dr. Adediran Charles Adekola, a surgeon and consultant at the Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital (MAUTH), Yola, disclosed that the outreach successfully treated 972 cases and conducted 23 surgeries.
He added that patients with complicated conditions were referred to MAUTH for further care.He explained that all beneficiaries were not only attended to at no cost but also received free medications.
According to him, the outreach recorded an impressive turnout, reflecting the community’s need for accessible healthcare.
The Lead Consultant of the Binos Medical Outreach, Dr. Jama Medan, reiterated Senator Yaroe’s unwavering dedication to improving the wellbeing of his constituents through continuous provision of quality, free healthcare services.
Medan emphasized the importance of community health, noting that, “When one person is sick, it affects the entire community. Health remains one of Senator Binos’ top priorities.
”He thanked the District Head of Dashen for mobilizing residents and encouraged communities in Nyibango-Dashen to take advantage of the outreach for better health and improved communal wellbeing.
One of the beneficiaries, Malam Abubakar Dashen, who battled a mysterious illness for 12 years, expressed profound gratitude after receiving treatment that brought him relief.
“I lack words to thank Senator Binos. God will reward him abundantly. Today, I am free from the disease,” he happily stated.
Another beneficiary, Mrs. Beauty Ayuba Momsiri, who underwent surgery for a long-standing hernia condition, praised Senator Yaroe for the life-changing assistance.
“I can never forget this gesture. God will continue to bless him and grant him more wisdom,” she said.
The Facility Manager of the PHCC, Roseline Esthon, and the District Head of Nyibango-Dashen, Alhaji Ahmadu Baba, described the outreach as the first of its kind in the area.
They commended the professionalism of the medical team and assured Senator Yaroe of overwhelming support from the Dashen electorate in the 2027 general elections.
