FRCN Zonal Director Urged Gift FM Jalingo To Improve On Content

The Acting North-East Zonal Director of the FRCN, Malam Dahiru Muhammed has called on the management of Gift FM Jalingo to ensure an improvement in its content, as the station is now stable in transmission with the installed solar power supply.
He revealed that following his previous visit to the station two months ago, the Zonal Headquarters has intervened in solving some of the challenges the staff are facing by providing them with Computers and Printers.
He explained that a training was organised on Digital Content Development, where some personnel have been appointed to head the new departments, such as the New Media and Corporate Development, recently established at the station.
The Ag Zonal Director promised to address the issue of inadequate manpower and encouraged the management to make greater use of those on the ground.Alhaji Dahiru Muhammad also expressed delight over the improvement in the service delivery of the station and pledged to continue intervening to enable the station to discharge its mandate in serving the people of Taraba State and Nigerians as a whole.”

Also in an interview, the Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs, North Central, Mr Adeiza Momoh Jimoh, who accompanied the North-East Zonal Director, said he was impressed with what he saw, especially the installation of the solar power supply.
Jimoh also expressed optimism that with the new Management of the Zone under the leadership of Malam Dahiru Muhammed, Gift FM and other FRCN stations will serve Nigerians better, believing that with the solar power supply, the problems of the station have already been solved by almost ninety per cent (90%).Elated by the visit of the Zonal Director and his entourage,
The newly appointed General Manager of Gift FM Jalingo, Mr Emmanuel Ejim described it as a testament of good leadership, saying that it will ginger their spirit to continue putting in their best in serving the public.
The GM also expressed optimism that with some pledges by the Taraba State Government and others, the operation of the station would soon be improved in both infrastructure and service delivery.
