Sen. Nazif to disenchanted politicians: join ADC for a fresh start, true democratic participation

The National Vice Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the North-East, Sen. Nazif Sulaiman, has urged experienced politicians and those who feel betrayed or sidelined in their current political parties to embrace the ADC as a credible alternative for rebuilding trust, strengthening democracy, and advancing development across the country.
Speaking to journalists on Monday in Bauchi, Sulaiman said many seasoned politicians have been frustrated by internal crises, broken agreements, and exclusionary practices in their parties.
He noted that the ADC offers them a new beginning anchored on fairness, innovation, and a commitment to delivering democratic dividends.
He described the ADC as a party that has “come with vigour, strength, and reliability,” stressing that it stands out as a refreshing platform for leaders who still wish to serve with integrity.
According to him, the party’s welcoming posture makes it ideal for those seeking a political home where their experience and dedication will be valued.
Sulaiman expressed confidence that the ADC is steadily positioning itself to become a strong contender in the 2027 general elections, even without governors currently in its fold.
“The party has come to stay and will outperform those already in the political mood. ADC is new, fresh, and driven by ideas that can transform the nation,” he said.
He also reassured aspirants that, unlike other parties that impose heavy financial burdens through costly nomination forms, the ADC remains committed to affordability and inclusiveness.
“We are not facing internal challenges. While others have made forms too expensive, the ADC will not take that route,” he said,
Sulaiman reaffirming that the party is open to all who desire a credible platform built on transparency and democratic values.
