Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a “clueless administration” that lacks focus and has continued to impose hardship on Nigerians.

The governor made the remarks on Saturday while addressing members of the Christian community during a Christmas rally and homage held at the Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu Square, Government House, Bauchi.

He said the APC-led Federal Government had failed to provide effective governance, accusing it of deepening poverty and promoting divisions along religious and social lines.

Mohammed, who is also the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, declared that despite internal challenges within the opposition party, the PDP remained strong, united, and determined to dislodge the APC in the 2027 general elections.

According to him, the PDP is actively engaging with Nigerians and working to address the difficulties facing the country.

Gov Mohammed stressed that the party would, at the appropriate time, clearly present its position and expose what he described as the failures of the ruling party.

The governor cautioned against politics of division, noting that governance should be about easing the suffering of citizens rather than creating further tension.

He called on leaders at all levels to reflect deeply during the Christmas season and assess their fairness and responsibility to the people they serve.

Mohammed prayed for national leaders to reconsider current policies, saying that many of the reforms being implemented were not yielding the desired results.

He urged them to listen to constructive criticism and make adjustments in the interest of Nigerians.Reaffirming his commitment to Bauchi State, the governor assured residents that his administration would continue to pursue peace, inclusive governance, and accelerated development.

He also pledged that the PDP would work collectively to produce capable leadership that would take the state and the country to greater heights.

He encouraged citizens not to be afraid of the future, expressing confidence that better days lie ahead through unity, accountability, and the fear of God.
