Ramadan Relief: Sen.Buba distributes 18,200 bags of rice in Bauchi

The Senator representing Bauchi South Senatorial District on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Shehu Bubs has flagged off the distribution of 18,200 bags of rice to constituents and other beneficiaries as part of Ramadan support in the State.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony in Bauchi on Sunday, Buba said the initiative was aimed at assisting Muslim faithful during the holy month of Ramadan and easing the hardship faced by vulnerable families amid rising living costs.

He expressed gratitude to God for the opportunity to serve, describing the gesture as part of his responsibility to the people.
He outlined the allocation for Bauchi South as follows: Bauchi Local Government Area, 2,000 bags; Toro, 1,500; Alkaleri, 1,200; Tafawa Balewa, 1,000; Kirfi, 700; Dass, 700; and Bogoro, 300 bags.
The senator added that 3,500 bags were earmarked for Bauchi North Senatorial District and 3,000 for Bauchi Central, while the remaining bags would be distributed to APC leaders, selected organisations and other stakeholders across the state.

Buba urged members of the distribution committee to ensure transparency and accountability so the items reach intended beneficiaries.
Chairman of the Distribution Committee, Abdulkadir Gyengyen, commended the senator’s intervention and assured of strict monitoring, while APC stakeholder, Alhaji Muhammad Sade, described the effort as people-oriented leadership.
