Gov Zulum appoints 4 special advisers, STA to boost recovery efforts

Gov. Babagana Zulum, has approved the appointment of four Special Advisers and a Senior Technical Assistant (STA) as part of efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate the state’s post-insurgency recovery programme.
The newly appointed Special Advisers are Mr Ali-Goni Lawan, Mr Ali Galgal, Bukar Daja, and Makinta Zarami. Gov. Zulum also approved the appointment of Mr. Gujja Dalori as Senior Technical Assistant on Reconstruction.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dauda Iliya on Saturday in Maiduguri.It said the appointments were made pursuant to Section 196(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
The statement noted that the appointments are aimed at reinforcing the administration’s commitment to effective governance, reconstruction, and sustainable development following 17 years of insurgency.
Gov. Zulum congratulated the appointees and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedication, professionalism, and selfless service to the people of Borno State.
