City Boy Movement Activates Bauchi Chapter, Sets for Grassroots Mobilisation

BAUCHI — The City Boy Movement, Bauchi State Chapter, has activated its state structure and commenced preparations for grassroots political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This is contained in a statement signed by Abdullahi Usman K., Director of Media, City Boy Movement, Bauchi State Chapter.
The statement said the decision followed a strategic meeting of the State Executive Council held in Bauchi and presided over by the State Director, Comrade Ja’afar Ibrahim Dass.
It said the meeting brought together members of the council to deliberate on the movement’s political direction, organisational structure and plans to establish an effective grassroots network across the state’s 20 Local Government Areas.
Dass congratulated members on their appointments and charged them to demonstrate commitment, discipline, loyalty and effective coordination in discharging their responsibilities.
He described the activation of the Bauchi structure as a major step toward strengthening the movement’s presence in the North-East and expanding its grassroots reach.
The chapter reaffirmed its commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledged to work with the party’s structures and relevant stakeholders in mobilising support for its programmes, candidates and political interests.
The movement also declared support for the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
According to the statement, the council will focus on reaching wards and communities, with emphasis on mobilising young people, community influencers and other political stakeholders.
It said the chapter would sensitise communities on the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration while promoting peaceful, lawful and responsible participation in the democratic process.
The leadership urged members and supporters across Bauchi to remain committed as the movement prepares for wider grassroots engagements and mobilisation activities.
