Former The North East Zonal Coordinator of SON, Alhaji Adamu Abba Galajen Bauchi has “formally joined the African Democratic Congress ADC in Bauchi on Saturday ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Abba who is a traditional ruler in Bauchi emirate Galajen Bauchi joins ADC as political activity intensifies .
The development was witnessed by a Bauchi South Senatorial of ADC Alhaji Garba Dahiru and State House of Assembly candidate for Bauchi Central Alhaji Imamu Tukur Ahmed and other leaders to welcome Galaje and his supporters in to the Party.
Galaje who retired as a Director in the Federal Civil Service by Joining ADC, remained a prominent figure in the state’s opposition politics.
Speaking at the event, Alhaji Adamu Abba Galajen Bauchi lamented that, the beneficiaries of democracy are undermining the system and called for commitment from ADC members to win the 2027 general election .
He said the Party has credible candidates that are committed for the development and progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria
“ADC will not allow democracy to be destroyed. We are committed to unity, security, and a better Nigeria, today our economy is not growing,This does not reflect competent leadership,” he stated.
Galaje said Nigeria’s challenges are not insurmountable if leaders embrace unity, competence, commitment, compassion, and truthfulness.
“Nigeria is not a poor country. What we lack is competent and honest leadership. insecurity in the country had reached unprecedented levels, calling on Nigerians to unite and make necessary changes”
We most vote for Atiku. As President , Halliru Dauda Jika as Bauchi Governor, Garba Dahiru as Bauchi South Senator , Dan Alfa as House of representatives candidate Imamu Ahmad Tukur Ahmad as member Bauchi Central State House of Assembly and other ADC candidate in the State.
Galaje told Youths not to play bitter politics but to ensure peaceful politics ,not to abuse or attack anybody while trying to campaign for ADC candidate, they should instead explain the leadership qualities of the candidates which will makes them to be accepted by the electorates.
The chairman ADC Bauchi LGA Alhaji Haruna Sabon Kaura assured party members that integrity, transparency, and equal opportunity would remain core values of the ADC, pledging a level playing field for all aspirants.
He said with your support and prayers ADC will defeat all Political Parties.
Chairman said Galaje’s move to the ADC brings another established political figure into the party highlighting the party’s ongoing efforts to expand its political presence in Bauchi State, as it builds its structures ahead of the 2027 elections.
In their separate remarks the Bauchi South Senatorial Candidate of ADC Alhaji Garba Dahiru and Bauchi Central State House of Assembly candidate of ADC Alhaji Imamu Ahmad Tukur commended Galaje for making wise decision .
They said ADC is the only opposition party ,because other Political Parties are all campaigning for the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
They said the present development comes as politicians and their supporters position themselves ahead of the 2027 general elections, which add to ADCs growing political organisation in Bauchi State.
They assured that ADC is expected to continue strengthening its structures across the state as political activity increases ahead of the 2027 elections.
