The Fahimta Women and Youth Development Initiative (FAWOYDI) has been honoured with the Excellence Leadership Award 2024/2025 by the Legislative Writers Forum of the National Assembly, Abuja.
in recognition of its exceptional contributions to advocacy, community empowerment, and inclusive leadership across Nigeria.
Presenting the award on behalf of the Legislative Writers Forum, Mr. Joseph Noel described FAWOYDI as a shining example of purposeful leadership and grassroots impact, noting that the organization’s commitment to social justice and women’s empowerment has continued to inspire positive change within communities nationwide.
FAWOYDI emerged as the Most Outstanding Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) of the Year, a testament to its sustained dedication to promoting equality, amplifying women’s voices, and advancing youth development initiatives across various sectors.
Reacting to the honour, the Executive Director of FAWOYDI, Mrs. Dinatu Daniel, expressed profound gratitude to the organizers for recognizing the organization’s efforts.
She dedicated the award to all partners, volunteers, and community members who have supported the organization’s mission over the years.

Since its establishment, FAWOYDI has championed women’s rights, promoted youth development, and implemented several life-changing programs aimed at reducing inequality and fostering sustainable growth across Nigeria.
