Kaura Force Backs Gov. Mohammed, Pledges Loyalty Amid Defection Speculations

Members of the Kaura Force movement in Bauchi State have reaffirmed their loyalty to Gov. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, pledging continued support for his leadership and any future political decision he may take.
Mr Seth Francis responding to questions at a press briefing in Bauchi on Monday said members of the movement felt a sense of responsibility to support the governor in appreciation of the opportunities and inclusive governance he had provided to the people of the state.
According to him, the administration of Mohammed has transformed Bauchi through policies that prioritise development, empowerment and equal opportunities for citizens regardless of ethnic or religious background.
He said the governor had demonstrated a strong commitment to fairness by appointing and empowering individuals based on merit and competence.
“We believe it is our responsibility to appreciate a leader who has given people the opportunity to serve and contribute to the development of Bauchi State.
“He is a determined leader who does not care about where you come from, your religion or ethnicity. What matters to him is the capacity to make impact,” Francis said.
Mr Francis added that members of the movement had resolved to unite and support the governor in recognition of what they described as his commitment to the welfare and progress of the state.
He noted that the group would continue to defend and promote the integrity of the governor while encouraging citizens to remain supportive of his development agenda.
On speculation regarding possible political defections within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Francis said it would align with whatever decision the governor takes.
According to him Mohammed’s decisions are always guided by the interest of the people of Bauchi State, noting that his leadership has consistently prioritised the wellbeing of residents.
Francis added that it would continue to stand with the governor “through thick and thin” in pursuit of sustained development and unity in the state.
