Bauchi North Senatorial District aspirant Hajiya Hafsat Umar Dantanko has declared her intention to provide what she described as “effective and people-oriented representation” for Bauchi North Senatorial District under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general election.

Dantanko made the pledge while addressing Journalists on Thursday in Bauchi , where she called on eligible voters across the district to support her candidacy in the forthcoming polls.

She assured constituents of her commitment to amplifying their voices at the National Assembly and ensuring that their interests remain a top priority.

According to her, the need for responsive and accountable leadership has become more pressing, stressing that her aspiration is driven by a desire to uphold the integrity and dignity of the people of Bauchi North.

She emphasized that, if elected, she would champion policies that promote social justice, economic empowerment, and sustainable development across the district.

“I am determined to speak for our people and defend their rights at all times. Our communities deserve representation that listens, understands, and delivers meaningful progress,” she said.

Dantanko further highlighted her readiness to engage with various groups, including youths, women, and traditional leaders, to ensure inclusive governance and participatory decision-making.

She noted that collaboration and unity among stakeholders would be key to addressing the challenges facing the district.
