2027: Stakeholders rally support for Gov. Bala’s senatorial ambition

Stakeholders in Alkaleri local government area of Bauchi state have pledged support for the senatorial ambition of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed ahead of the forthcoming 2027 election through the Kaura Movement.Leader of the Team, Alhaji Mohammed Bello Maiwada, said this at the unveiling of the support group, “Kaura Movement”, in Alkaleri local government area to mobilise more support for the Governor’s senatorial ambition in the 2027 general election.
Maiwada, who is the Commissioner of Natural Resources Development in the State, described Governor Bala as a committed democrat and grassroots politician whose administration has continued to execute meaningful developmental projects across Bauchi State.
He said stakeholders and residents of Bauchi South Senatorial District were fully prepared to mobilise more support for the governor through the Kaura Movement.
The Commissioner said all the seven local government areas of Bauchi South Senatorial District and entire state had benefited significantly from the administration of the governor through various developmental projects and people-oriented policies, describing him as a “visionary leader with a proven track record”.
Maiwada explained that the “Kaura Movement” was established as a strong political structure aimed at promoting the senatorial ambition of Kauran Bauchi and all other aspirants under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Commissioner said the movement is made up of respected elders, energetic youths, women groups, political stakeholders and intellectuals drawn from across the zone, all working collectively to strengthen the political fortunes of the party and ensure continued democratic leadership in the state.
He assured party supporters and members of the Kaura Movement of unwavering loyalty and total commitment toward ensuring the success of Governor Bala Mohammed and all APM candidates in the forthcoming elections.
He called on the people of Bauchi South and the entire state to sustain their support, unity and cooperation in order to achieve the desired political victory in 2027.
Many speakers at the rally passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Governor Bala, expressing optimism that the governor would emerge victorious at the election.
They pledged their commitment to ensuring the emergence of the governor as senator representing Bauchi South Senatorial District through the support of the Kaura Movement.
They attributed their support to the governor’s “record of good governance, technocratic competence, and developmental achievements across the state”.
Speakers commended Bala’s style of governance, noting that his experience and leadership qualities would further advance the interests of Bauchi South at the national level if elected senator.
They called on eligible citizens to take advantage of the third phase of the Continuous Voter Registration exercise conducted by INEC to enable them participate in electing leaders of their choice in the forthcoming general elections.
They commended the formation of the Kaura Movement and described it as a timely political initiative capable of fostering unity and strategic political coordination within the party and pledged their readiness to work tirelessly for the success of the movement and all APM candidates during the 2027 general elections.
The colourful unveiling ceremony of the Kaura Movement attracted party loyalists, community leaders, youth organisations and women groups from different parts of Bauchi State, who expressed optimism that the movement would further enhance political participation and strengthen democratic engagement across the state.
