Ardo-Kola Council’s Boss Swears In Vice, 10 Councillors, Calls For Teamwork

The Executive Chairman of the Ardo-Kola Local Government Council of Taraba State, Hon. Umar Bello Badawere has called on his Vice and Councillors to join hands and work with him as a team to provide the dividends of democracy to the people.
He made the call during the swearing-in of the Council’s Vice Chairman, Hon. Nancy Colomba, held at the local government’s secretary in Sunkani, on Wednesday.While congratulating her for a successful historic occasion, Hon. Umar Bello Badawere described Hon. Nancy Colomba, as a woman of competence and integrity, believing that together, they will bring the desired development to the local government area.
However, 10 councillors have also been sworn in, who were elected from the various political wards of the local government area.
Earlier in a welcome address, the Head of the Civil Service of the local government, Comrade John Abel Dia recognised the presence of dignitaries who graced the event, including the wife of the council’s Chairman, Hajiya Aisha Umar Badawere, the Taraba State NLC Chairman, Comrade Peter Jediel, among many others.
In a remark, the vice chairman, Hon. Nancy Colomba appreciated the electorate for the mandate given to her and thanked Governor Agbu Kefas for allowing her to serve her people.
The oath of office and that of allegiance were administered by a Magistrate, Aisha Adamu Lau.
